Safes is an innovative application that provides different options and facilities for parents and their children. Safes makes sure children are safe out there. Providing different features and options, you can choose various ways to protect your children from the dangers of the Internet. Let's explore the features of Safes on our fantastic application.
Live Location
Opening the application, you can see a menu at the bottom of your screen. Live location helps you locate your child based on their latest GPS activity. This is to protect them from the outside world dangers and also to know where they are at the moment. Let's get to know the features more and more.
Live Location works almost 99 percent accurately. Locations are precise and reliable. Maps are powered by the Google Maps engine. You can see all the names and addresses accurately and precisely. Don't forget that you need your Location to be on and you also have to connect to a network.
Tip: Try testing Live Location as you're walking or standing still, to check its accuracy.
On the top of the page, there are some pages you can see 3 tabs that can be used for different activities. Live location, History, and Geofencing. In the History tab, you are able to see your child's latest location. You need to update their current as well. There are a couple of icons on the screen that you're going to need.
You can locate your child by clicking on Child Location Icon. To use this feature, both of you should have an internet connection and your GPS service on. If you tap on that, you can see your child on the map.
Your location can also be shown on the map if you tap the logo.
Tip: Make sure you have a proper internet connection.
If you want to use these features for the first time, you are going to give permission to your Safes app to use your location on your Android device. You can always edit permissions on your app settings.
Location History
To view a record of locations your child has been, you can view Location History. It will be updated every time you tap on Child's Location icon.
Note: your child needs to have an active internet connection so that Safes can get the latest updates on their location.
Geofencing
Introducing Geofencing, Safes is able to protect your children and bring you peace of mind at its finest. Using this feature, you can draw a virtual guard around your child to make sure nothing is going to threaten their safety. There are multiple options to use this feature.
You can set different Geofences and add titles to each area. Feel free to customize your setting and you are able to set a limit of how far your child can go. If their location exceeds the set limit, you will be notified.
This feature is designed specifically to help parents locate their children, within or outside the fence. There will be no worries left after using this feature. You can always edit Geofence's specifications. To set up this feature, you can tap "Add Geofence", to see the map. On the map, you can set the name and the radius you desire. If your child's location changes and they quit the fence, you will get a notification.
You can see a radius around your child's location as you move the swipe the navigator left and right.
After setting the radius and location you want, you can tap on Add Geofence to save the settings. Remember that you can always edit these settings and add new ones to the list.
