"App Rules" is a feature on Safes that allows parents to optimize the app usage experience on their child's device by allowing, blocking, or limiting certain apps.

Bundles for Limitations.

You can create app groups (bundles) to set specific limitations on applications. For example, you want to block Instagram, Telegram, and TikTok for 2 hours a day. The rules you set for a bundle, apply to all the apps in that group.

Viewing and Managing App Lists

To manage and set rules on the child's apps, you can follow the instructions below:

  1. From the settings, tap on "Rules". Then tap on "App Rules" to see the settings.

  2. You can see the list of applications on the child's device (if correctly paired with permissions granted). The options you have with the applications are:

    • Allow

    • Block

    • Limit

If you set an app as Allowed, the children will be always allowed to use it, even when the screen time is up or the instant block is activated.

If you Block an app, they won't be able to use it, even when their screen time isn't up.

If you limit an app, they will be able to use it only for a certain amount of time (for example 2 hours a day)

Usage Limit Types: There are different ways parents can limit the apps.

  • Every Day

  • Custom (Choosing a different limitation for each app)

Select the duration you want the app to be blocked. For example, you might want Instagram to be blocked for 3 hours every day, so set a limit of 3 hours and ensure you save the settings.
