Overview

Screen time management allows parents to define daily or custom usage limits for their child’s device. Parents can also temporarily block access to all apps except always-allowed ones. This feature helps parents monitor the usage duration and restrict the usage to prevent excessive screen time.

Add or Edit Screen Time

To set screen time settings, please keep in mind there are different modes to set limits.

  • Daily Limit: Set a single usage limit for all weekdays,

  • Custom Limit: Set different usage limits for each day of the week. Parents can modify individual day limits or disable specific weekdays.

  • Instant Block: Block all of the apps on the child's device by activating this option within the screen time feature. All the applications will stop working until the option is toggled off (except for the allowed ones.)

  • Extra Time: You can use this option if the screen time is up, but you want to allow children to use their phones for a little extra time. Set a duration and add it to the child's phone.

According to your preference, follow the instructions below:

  1. Navigate to the screen time management section in the app.

  2. Choose either Daily or Custom.

  3. If you choose any of the options, set the limit. For example, you want to allow the child to use their phone 3 hours a day. Set the timer to 3 hours. After the 3 hours are up, the child will no longer be able to use their phone.

  4. Step 3: Save Changes

Viewing Usage Statistics

Last 7-Day Average: Tap the lamp icon next to daily limits to view the average screen time usage over the past 7 days. If the device has been paired for fewer than 7 days, the average reflects the total paired days.
