AMT enables parents to monitor and manage their child’s app activities, configure content restrictions, view reports, and add exceptions. Due to platform limitations, some features are only available for specific child devices. Only children with an Android device (upgraded with the customized version of the Safes app downloaded from the website) may be subject to the rules.

This feature works based on the categories parents set on the Content Filtering. Parents can block certain items and add exceptions and ensure their child's safety

Platform-Specific Behavior

Kids App (Downloaded from Google Play Store): Only YouTube monitoring is available.

If downloaded from the Safes website, the customized version enables parents to monitor the SMS and Call activity according to blocked items as well.

First-Time Navigation to AMT Page

Enable AMT Toggle: Parents can enable the AMT toggle for the selected child. To access the setting, Open the parent app, and on the homepage, tap on the "Rules" on the child's card. Scroll down the list and tap on "App Monitoring." There you need to toggle it on.

iOS Devices: The feature is not currently available on iOS devices.

Android Devices: Android-S (App downloaded directly from the website) can be subject to the rules application. The version downloaded from the website is a customized version and enables the parents to use the App Monitoring feature with ease. Using the -S app version enables parents to get reports for

  • Call & SMS: If a blocked word is used in the text or a blocked contact is contacted, parents will be notified through notifications.

  • YouTube searches: If the children search for a blocked item on YouTube or send a blocked keyword item in a message, parents will be notified with a notification.
