Geofence allows parents to define virtual boundaries on a map, such as Home, School, or Other Places, and receive notifications when their child enters or exits these areas.
Setting up a Geofence brings peace of mind to parents and can help them better be aware of their child's security and safety.
Setting up a fence
Tap on the child's card from the rule page and scroll down the list. Tap on Geofence to navigate to the feature page.
You can define multiple Geofences and give them different names, for example, Home, School, etc. You can also edit the existing names.
Set the radius to your fence. You can adjust it from 50 to 500 meters.
NOTES: Premium parents can add up to 5 Geofences per child.
Live Location
For the children's safety, Safes enables parents to see their child's latest location. As the parent is on the map within the child's card, they can tap on the Safes parent app homepage to see their child's location in real-time.
They can also review the location history of their child. They can simply tap on the Location History button and check the last locations.
Note that the child needs to have an active internet connection, and their location services permission needs to be set to "Always Allow" within the setup. You do this step as you're installing the Safes Kids app.
What notifications do I get as a parent?
Notifications are sent to parents when the child:
Enters the Geofence (Check-in).
Exits the Geofence (Check-out).
